Studio G Brooklyn is a comfortable musicians clubhouse built by Musician/engineer/producers Tony Maimone and Joel Hamilton.A cool, unique spot where you will find a gear list that rivals any studio in the world, and you will also find a turkey baster to tune your glasses for a crystal wine glass overdub, or a giant modular synthesysizer for otherworldly sounds, or huge bass batches..etc..etc..We like things that make noises.. We hope that studio g is the perfect blend of comfortable/professional/esoteric/artistic/vintage and modern for whatever project is at hand. Studio G will be opening a "B" room within the first few months of 2008. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Our "B" room will be located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and will share much of the classic microphone collection, and lots of great gear with our main room in williamsburg. Joel's assistant, Marc Goodman, will be running the "B" room. more info on that room SOON! Check out a bunch of random pictures!
We have added a bunch of stuff from Chandler, Mercury, Elysia, latch lake, and more.. check out the gear pages for updates! Studio has added an original SSL bus compressor, another Neumann U87, and a PCM42 delay. The Antelope 10M atomic clock is giving our PTHD3 rig that extra oomph we were looking for. COupled with the antelope OCXV, things are just popping out of the speakers! Studio G GOES ATOMIC! Joel also got an ADL 670 (fairchild) compressor! the big daddy of all compressors!
