Well, you know my name is Dave. I was born in Newport, RI in 1960. I have lived in RI most of my life with the exception
of the time I served in the Air Force (78-81) when I was stationed in Ogden, UT with the 2849th Civil Engineering Squadron. I
also lived in Fairfield, CA for about a year in the late 90's. Gave me some time to see my Twin Sister Patsy and
her family who live out in California. My Mom, Brother, John, two (of my three) Sisters, JoAnne and Nancy, all live
in Newport. My Father, unfortunatly, passed away in 1991 but is always with me in my heart.
I always seem to wind up back in RI! It does have it's great attributes. The ocean being one of my favorites. How
I do love the ocean!
I live in Tiverton with my Fiance Jane. We have been together since 1995 when we both worked at a plumbing co
in Newport. No she's not a plumber, she was the receptionist and I was the plumber. I have been a plumber since 1978 and even
while in the Air Force. Now I'm semi-retired because of an auto accident which severly injured my back.
I have two children from a previous marrige. Shannon, the oldest, and Patrick. Shannon is married and lives with
her husband Marcus in Georgia and Patrick just started his first year of college out in sunny CA. Both of them are doing
well and have made me proud! Jane also has two children. Michelle who lives in MA. with her fiance James (They are getting
married in June 05) and David. He is living and working in Newport having just finished a four year stint in the Marines.
Jane and I are very lucky to have such great kids (and Grandkids!).
