Kindergarten Orientations are Here! | February - April, 2007
Abingdon Elementary School encourages all curious parents to attend any of its three official orientations over the coming
months. Orientations are a great time to visit the school, meet the principal, tour the building, see the school "in action"
and get a general feel for the school.
Principal of the Year, Joanne Uyeda, will start off with an introduction to the school, which is generally followed by a few
words from one of the four kindergarten teachers. After the presentations, parents will break off into groups and enjoy tours
of the school led by teachers.
Orientation Schedule
Tuesday, February 27: 9:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
Thursday, March 8: 12:45 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.
Thursday, April 12: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Orientations begin in the Abingdon Elementary School library (signs will direct the way).
If you can't make any of the orientations, the principal is happy to give individual tours. Please call the school office
to arrange a time (703) 228-6650.
