Share your time and talents
Teachers often need parent volunteers to help with small group activities, reading to children or correcting papers. Do you
like cooking or crafts? Volunteer to give students a classroom demonstration of how to make an exotic dish or a creative holiday
gift.
Get technical
If you have computer skills, work from the comfort of your own home to help update Abingdon's website.
Tutor or read to children
Would you like to help out a child by giving him or her just that extra bit of attention?

Get out your green thumb
Talk to the PTA about gathering a group of parents to plant trees or flowers around the school, weeding the garden, or helping maintain flower
pots.
