Our service is to inform you about LOCAL INCIDENTS AND INFORMATION that you may find useful.  IT IS NOT A FEED for emergency weather information or traffic congestion information, even though this information may be shared via our system from time to time.  By subscribing to the service, you will only be charged for the price of the text message that you receive, if your plan charges you for such services.  There are no other fees to you.  Additionally, this service is intended for the use by residents and businesses in the City of District Heights, Maryland.  Users may be removed at the discretion of City of District Heights mass notification system administrator if they are not an intended user.  Questions about the system may be directed to Chief Jeff Dahn at (301) 336-1400 x 23.
