John Wiley has been a member of PCA since 2006. He bought his first
Corvair, a 1966 Monza Convertible, on E-Bay in July of 2005. You can see more on John's car @ http://www.frappr.com/johnwiley . John is also the PCA's new webmaster. John's interests include
Corvairs, automobile restoration, motorcyles, grilling, gardening, and family. John thinks his love
of all things automotive came from watching his father wax the family's jet black 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe under the bridge
when he was a young boy. The chrome, the woodgrain dash, the deep black paint, polished until it looked as if
you could dive in and take a swim in it hooked him at the age of 4. The family's second car was a white 1964 Corvair
500 sedan. A 1969 VW Beetle replaced that 1949 Plymouth and the Wiley family was air-cooled exclusively.
John says being in the club has taught him so much about Corvairs. The wealth of knowledge and experience among the
club members is the greatest benefit of membership says John, when added in with the cruises, the shows, and other
club events you have an unbeatable value in membership. John states he only wishes he had joined the club before
buying his first Corvair.
