Recent Meeting Topics

The October meeting focusing on body work was held at Dave Stein's house.
 
The September meeting was held at the Roslyn Show with Marlene Passini, Dave Stein and Rich Greene winning top 30 awards.
 
The August meeting was August 2nd at Das Awkscht Fescht  in Macungie.
 
The July meeting was held July 11th at the Walmart Cruise Night
in Harleysville.
 
The June meeting was hels at the Conshohocken Show on June 6th.
 
The May meeting was the club's Spring Cruise to Longwood Gardens.  We had a nice turn out and a great time.  Cool weather, cool cars, lunch and a day exploring amazing gardens and conservatories.
 
The April Meeting was held at Dave Smith's house.  Larry's virtually rust free Rampside was on the lift showing the detailed undercarrige.  Remarkable to see a rust free Rampside.  John brought soft pretzels, Dave provided snacks and drinks and the club ordered pizza.  Bill gave a mini tech session on choke coil replacement.  Plans for the Spring cruise to Longwood Gardens were outlined and the regional 50th Anniversary of the Corvair fall event were discussed.

The November meeting will be held at the Vargo Dragway Reunion Carshow Saturday November 7th.  We will meet at the Wawa at the intersection of 313 & 113 at 7AM Sharp.  Please let Dave know if you are attending.  mailto:nprr31@verizon.net

I'm impressed. The website looks great! Lots of great info and stuff going on. I see people have worked hard while I was a non member for a couple years.  ... the site looks good and its good to see the club on the net.

Just a note to say the site looks great... one of the 'improvements' that I liked was the larger print and readability. Since we have more 'old' guys than young (and I even have good eyesight!), I'm sure that it was well received.  Jerry Hollister

 

nice job on your new site...i really like your opening paragraph re:  "...you don't need a corvair to join..." and your offer to help people find one to buy...it's a great invitation to potential new members – think I’ll add something like that to our home page...also dig the myspace 65 sales video - very cool, and if it's ok w/ you I'm going to add that link to our club's "fun stuff" page.  Rod Murray
