I first saw the MINI in a MotorTrend article about a year before they came to the states. Upon first glance I knew that
was the next car I was going to buy.
Several months later the MINI dealer was being built and I was calling them every week waiting for them to be able to
take my order.We didn't just want one off the lot.
Finally 3-26-02 we were able to place Miła 's order. I tracked her trip through the birth canal
every day via the internet.
4-17-02, her birth!!! 2 days earlier than they (MINI) projected it.
A month and a day later, (5-18-02) she made the trip to the dealer. That day we decided to stop by the dealer even though
they hadn't called us yet to tell us she came in. We met her just a couple hours after she got off the truck. Because of this
- our very first pictures of her show her without the driving lights or even the lug nut caps.
5-21-02 After a LONG weekend of waiting for the detail shop to finish with her we were finally able to pick her up.
