When I was younger (5 or 6) I used to live next to a little Corner Store that had some arcade machines in it. The owner
used to let me turn on the machines before I went to school. That was a huge rush for me back then. I can remember when games
like Donkey Kong Junior, Mappy (my favorite), Roc'n Rope and Congo Bongo were new. The excitement in the store when they
came in was great.
As I grew up my father used to take me to an arcade called JNC Golf n Games in Depew, NY (which is still around) on his
visitation days. There we played games like Bubbles, Dig Dug, Mr. Do, Tron and Alpine Ski. Those were some of the best
old days I can remember.
One of the things I enjoy most is collecting old video games. Andrea and I started our "Penora Arcade" with a 1990 Atari
Klax JAMMA machine. I then inherited and reconditioned an old bar room fooseball machine. Next came a 1950 Bally Shuffle Champ
shuffle puck bowling machine then a Crazy Shaman slot machine and a 1985 Arachnid English Mark Super 6 dart machine.
Actually I listed the games up top in chronologic order as I received them.

To me these machines have a certain charm to them. Each one designed to be different and stand out. I guess I am just
recapturing my childhood by collecting these games. It doesn't matter what condition the game is in. If it is new, I will
be proud of it. If it is beat up, I will attempt to bring it back to it's former glory (or at least make it playable again).
I like the challenge.
