Pics of the custom LED tail lights I made for the Volvo 1979+ 240/260 series sedan and coupe.
 

Stop/tail and turn signal lights are Diodelite by Dialight Super series 44 with 44 high intensity LEDs in each lamp.

The backup lamps are simply round 12v/55 watt 2" lamps made by GE.  They make backing up a pleasure.

Under the backup lamp is a simple 2" red reflector.

The housings are simply stock Volvo tail lamp assemblies with damaged lenses that I repaired with bondo and fiberglass.

a carbon fiber unit is also just as easy.
