January 2009
January 11th, Sunday; Members are invited to attend annual meeting at 2PM at association's hall.
January 26th, Monday; Gung Hay Fat Choy! Lunar Chinese New Year, the Year of the Ox (4707). Members
can stop by to get your hong bao/lai see (red envelope/lucky money).
February 2009
February 1, Sunday 1-3pm, Starting today, tickets for the New Year/Spring Banquet will be sold on a first come
first served basis. Tickets are $20/person with restrictions, so stop by association's hall for more details. Tickets will
be available until sold out. Also, a good time to pay this year's membership dues.
February 8th, Sunday - 9:45AM, Everyone is invited to come down to 81 Bayard Street see a special performance, courtesy
of Grand Master Yee Chi Wai (Frank Yee) of the Yee's Hung-Ga International Kung Fu Association. Lion and Dragon dance teams
and students from his academy will highlight their achievements.
February 21st, Saturday - Association's Chinese New Year/Spring Banquet to celebrate the Chinese
Lunar New Year and to honor senior members. Banquet celebration will start at 6PM at Jing Fong Restaurant, 20 Elizabeth Street,
NY 10013.
March 2009
March 15th, Sunday, 2pm; General membership meeting, members are requested to attend.
March 29th, Sunday - Ching Ming, a time to respect our ancestors. The association is going to Mt. Pleasant and Cypress
Hill Cemeteries. Transportation will leave 12 noon, those interested should stop by office for more information and signup.
May 2009
May 17th, Sunday - Parent's Day. We will be having a buffet luncheon at 12noon in our
association's hall to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day together - "Parent's Day". Members come join us as we celebrate
Parent's Day. Also, please come out to welcome Eastern Grand President Hin Leung as he visit
us from Cleveland.

cards for the whole school year to our hall.
July 2009
July 5 & 12, Sunday - 1-3 PM. Applications for this years scholarship will be accepted. Please bring original report
cards for the whole school year to our hall.
July 11, Saturday - Annual Picnic. This year we will be going to Bear Mountains State Park- Harriman, New York. Meet
buses in front of American Legion Blding, 191 Canal St, between Mott & Mulberry St. Buses leave at 9AM. Return buses leaves Bear
Mountain at 4:00PM sharp. Be on time.
August 2009
August 8-11 Sunday-Tuesday, Yee's Family 23rd National Convention in New York City.
August 16, 23, 30 Sunday 1-3PM. Scholarship award winners can pickup their check
November 2009
November 15th, Sunday - Noon to 2PM. Please come and join us for a buffet luncheon to celebrate Thanksgiving. Don't miss out
on this family time which promises to be entertaining as well as time well spent.
November 29th, Sunday - 2PM. Membership meeting. All are invited as nominations for 2010 officers are accepted.
December 2009
December 13th, Sunday - 9AM to 3PM. Members are invited to come down to our hall to cast your vote for 2010 officers. Your
opinion does count.
December 27th, Sunday - 1PM. All are welcome to our hall as we hold our Installation Ceremony for the 2010 elected officers.
Buffet luncheon will follow ceremony.
