Dear all:

Guess who got married recently? Right you are! Lisa and Henry got married on

Sunday, November 2. Lisa is the second daughter of Eugene and Jenny Yee; and

Henry is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wai Kuen Yu. This couple is so passionately

in love that one honeymoon will certainly lead to more honeymoons. Right now

they are enjoying their very first honeymoon in Hawaii.

Lisa's family is no stranger in our association. They have been helping out

a lot in all our major functions. It was very nice that they invited a whole

bunch of us to the wedding. The church minister was just like one of those

in the movies, very flamboyant and loquacious. I would have lost my line if

he married my wife and me! :-)) Then usual tea ceremony took place at the

restaurant. It was different and new to the non-Chinese friends of Lisa and

Henry. Everyone was fascinated to see Lisa's new major serious jewelry,

bigger than Mr. T's collection!  :-))  Someone without a camera was using

her camera cellphone to take pictures. That's innovative. Then I had the

honor of saying a few congratulatory words and introducing Lisa's family

members during the banquet. I had a great time. The entertainment during the

banquet was excellent. The DJ and the music setup was very professional.

Very contemporary and lively. No usual line dancing and all that jazz. The

only glitch was that their powerful equipment practically blew the fuss a

few times, given that another wedding banquet was going strong too on a

different floor in the same restaurant. All and all it was fun. Those cool

guys and gals basically did not want to leave the dance floor. Of course,

the entertainment company also handed out party favors. But something

different was that they gave away audio CD's with presumably Lisa and

Henry's favorite hits. That's new. I heard parts of most of the songs on the

radio. And now I have a CD. That's a great compilation.

Once again I sincerely wish Lisa and Henry the best of everything. May Lisa

and Henry have many lovely children and prosper in everything they want to

do. And in a more mundane tone, make a lot of money too! God bless.
