Rules
1. Anyone registering for a Gin Bowl tourney is automatically entered
in the individual Gin Bowl competition.
2. Anyone who wants to play in the team competition must register at joey_blue_eyez@yahoo.com. Please refer to the teams page for team information.
3. Any tourneys that do not start, whether it be due to server problems, lack of players registering,
or any other reason, will not be made up.
4. Tourney times will be announced on this site. Please check often for more information.
5. Although not encouraged, players will be allowed to change their ladder names as need be.
6. Those that withdraw, get kicked, or get purged from the league will lose all their wins and losses
accumulated in the competition, and if applicable, will be removed from their team. Wins and losses will still count
for the team.
7. Each team will be limited to 5 players. It is encouraged, especially after some teams start
to fill, to give me first and second choices. Please refer to the teams page for team information.
8. Each player and team get credit for wins and losses for matches played. Players and teams
get no credit for byes.
9. Playoffs
a. Qualifiers
i. Single Elim Playoffs - All players who win
at least 1 game in a single elim tourney.
ii. Double Elim Playoffs - All players who
win at least 1 game in a double elim tourney.
a. Double elim
playoffs will be limited to 64 players. Players ranked 1-64 will get automatic invites. Those ranked 66 and lower
will be "also eligible", meaning you will get an invite, but you will have to wait til the closing to checkin to see if you
get into the tourney.
iii. Swiss Playoffs - All players who win at
least 1 game in a Swiss tourney.
iv. Gin Bowl TOC - Tourney restricted to winners
of a Gin Bowl tourney.
v. Gin Bowl Championship - All players who
won a match in any Gin Bowl tourney gets an invite.
10. GIFF Events reserve the right to add rules to this page as deemed necessary.
