Summary- Casey McDonald had it all - a perfect house with her loving mother, Nora,
and little sister, Lizzie; an all-girls private school where she was popular; perfect grades; everything she wanted in life.
Elsewhere, Derek Venturi has everything he wants as well - a "guys" house with his father, George; his younger brother, Edwin,
who does anything Derek asks; and a little sister, Marti, who adores him. He's the hockey team star, the most popular person
at his school, and a good-looking guy with a lot of girls. When George Venturi and Nora McDonald fall in love and get married,
everything changes - Casey and Lizzie are forced to move into the Venturi house and switch schools. Casey is horrified by
the sloppy house, her brothers' lack of respect for women, and her new school where she can't seem to do anything right. Derek
hates having three more women in the house - he has to share the remote and take down the posters of the models in his room,
learn to "respect" women, and to top it all off, Casey has a crush on his best friend! Will Derek and Casey ever learn how
to live together in peace?
