husbandry and to share successes using the internet to distribute a Quarterly e- newsletter, an educational website and a
website based forum.
Educate about the need for and promote the establishing of pure captive-breed
populations of naturally occurring softbill and finch
species currently kept in American aviculture.
Encourage the showing pure specimens of naturally occurring softbills and
finches species in American aviculture as a means to educate and provide contacts among members.
