OPEN TO ANYONE WISHING TO COMPETE
LOCATION. The Fairfax Rod
& Gun Club is located at 7039 Signal Hill Road, Manassas, VA 20111-4212.
RANGE. Firing line is
concrete, covered, with turning targets at the 25-yard line. The range has 25 firing positions. Food and
refreshments are available at the club house dining facility. Menus will be provided prior to the start of
the match so that lunch may be preordered during the match. It will be ready at the club house during the lunch break.
Lunch costs are currently 7 or 8 dollars depending on entre.
Registration.
8:00 to 8:45AM. Shooters to the line
at
9:00 AM. Advanced
registration or reservations are requested. Anyone who reserves a position and does not show without prior notification
via email or telephone will be required to pay in advance for any future match. If prior notification is not possible, then
notification must be provide as soon as possible after the fact. Advanced registration and reservations for

$40.00 for three guns, $35.00 for one AND/OR two guns.
$5.00 discount for: (only one
discount may be applied to a competitor)
1). Fairfax Rod & Gun Club members,
2). Juniors (20 years old or younger at anytime
during 2009 though December 31, 2009 - rule 2.3),
3). Seniors (60 years or older anytime between
January 1 through December 31, 2009 – rule 2.2.1),
4). Police (rule 2.4) not supported in any
way (ammo, guns, travel, or receiving ANY kind of reimbursement).
5). Active Duty Military (rule 2.6) AND not supported in any way (ammo, guns, travel, or receiving ANY kind of reimbursement).
- Virginia State Outdoor
Pistol Championship, June 27 & 28 and the Northern
Virginia NRA Regional Championship September 26th & 27th.
$50.00 for all 2700 competitors
(includes Distinguished Revolver and CMP EIC match fees)
If shooting the DR or EIC matches only (and not the 2700)

$5.00 for DR and $15.00 for EIC.
Awards
- NRA Registered Tournaments: Awards will
be in cash, check, or NRA points.
- The Overall Winner is not eligible for classification awards.
- Cash awards will normally be given for each 5 shooters in a classification but may be modified
depending on number of competitors.
- Classifications may be combined.
- Virginia State Outdoor Championship: Plaques
for the 3 top finishers provided by VSSA.
- NRA Regional Championship: Medallions for 3 top finishers
provided by NRA.
Team medals provided by NRA. Souvenir pins provided by NRA.
- All shooters in all matches will receive a certificate showing
participation and total score and individual achievement(s).
NOTES.
- All aspects of the matches will be governed by current NRA Pistol Rules
- Only match officials may use scoring plugs.
- All matches will be squadded
- Challenge fee is $1.00. If a challenge is sustained, then
the fee will be refunded.
- The jury system will be used.
- 2700, or three-gun, shooters have priority in firing position assignments
for the 2700 match even after all positions have been reserved.
- Protest period for an aggregate ends 30 minutes after that aggregate is completed.
Signing the score card waives any protest regarding scores for that aggregate.
MATCH SCHEDULE.
- .22 Caliber Aggregate (2 x SF @ 50 yards, NMC, and 2 x TF & RF @ 25 yards) (90 shots)
- 15 minute break
- Center Fire Aggregate (2 x SF @ 50 yards, NMC, and 2 x TF & RF @ 25 yards) (90 shots)
- 45 minute lunch break
- .45 Caliber Aggregate (2 x SF @ 50 yards, NMC, and 2 x TF & RF @ 25 yards) (90 shots)
- Distinguished Revolver Match (1 SF @ 50 yards and 1 each
TF & RF @ 25 yards) (30 shots).
Relays
as required to allow shooters to shoot the DR and EIC matches and to share guns as necessary.
- EIC Pistol Match (1 SF @ 50 yards and 1 each TF & RF
@ 25 yards) (30 shots).

TARGETS. B-6 at the 50-yard
line and B-8 at the 25-yard line.
Miscellaneous.
- Eye and hearing protection are required for all people
in the match and for all spectators.
- Anyone believed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol
will not be allowed to participate and will be asked to leave.
- Empty chamber indicator use mandatory. They will be
provided if needed.
