r .22 rimfire ammunition with a bullet 40 grains or less.

r Barrel length, including receiver, and sight radius not over 10 inches.  Any sight (open, iron or optics) except laser.

r Trigger pull greater than 2 pounds.

This is a NRA Sanctioned League.  Total shots and score will be reported to the NRA for credit for classification in Outdoor Conventional Pistol.

The pace of the match will be geared to the beginning competitor and for those who have not shot bullseye for awhile.

No single-action revolvers and small “pocket” handguns will be allowed.  The single-action revolver is time-consuming to load and clear and the “pocket” pistols cannot shoot accurately at 25 yards much less at 50 yards.

Hearing and eye protection and empty chamber indicators (ECI) are mandatory.  ECI’s will be provided if necessary.

These matches are not part of the 2700 matches also conducted at Fairfax Rod & Gun.  Those matches are NRA Registered matches.

This League was implemented to allow one and two-gun shooters to participate in NRA matches because the 2700 matches for 2008 were filled by November 2007.
