When your wedding reception, anniversary or birthday party calls for enough space to accommodate
50 - 200 people, our function hall is the perfect place. Bright and climate-controlled, our function hall offers
plenty of space to dine and dance. There's also a convenient bar hosted by our friendly, experienced bartending staff. You
may use your choice of caterers, or bring prepared food, and serve it up yourself. With our affordable rental rates,
and the flexibility of catering options, it's no wonder the function hall at the American Legion Post 79 is
such a popular choice. We'd be happy to show it to you, and look forward to hosting your next event!

- Q: Is a bartender included with the rental fee?
- A: No.
- Q: Is cleanup included with the rental fee?
- A: No. You are responsible for the removal of all bottles, glasses, decorations,
etc. and if kitchen facilities are used, the normal cleaning of such facilities, excluding the floor.
- Q: What time may I get into the hall to decorate?
- A: This depends upon the hall schedule. It is possible you can get into the
room anywhere up to several hours before your function.
- Q: Is there a kitchen or cooking facilities?
- A: Yes.
- Q: Are tables and chairs included?
- A: Yes. There is seating for 200 people at 6' round tables.
There are also 6' and 8' folding leg tables for additional seating.
- Q: Does the American Legion cater?
- A: No, at the present time we do not offer catering services.
- Q: Can we have entertainment in the hall?
- A: Yes. There is a stage where a band or DJ can set up for your function.
- Q: Can we bring our own liquor or beer?
- A: No.
- Q: May we bring our own soft drinks, soda/juice?
- A: Yes and No... Yes if you do not have a bartender. No if you do have
a bartender. Please call the Post for more information.
- Q: Do we need to secure a liquor permit for our party?
- A: No. The American Legion will secure all permits.
