June 21, 2005 - The First Day of Summer

This web page was first launched in April of 2003 and covered only Hills Pond and Sunset. Lake..
In June of 2005 the page was expanded and renamed BELKNAP LAKES in order to include all of the lakes that
make up the headwaters of the Suncook Watershed. During the summer of 2005 all of these pages will migrate to http://www.belknaplakes.com and will be hosted on a new server. WISH ME LUCK!

As of today, the site has had 961 hits! Of course, I check the hit counter daily so at least 35 or so of those hits are
mine! Weve had photo contibutions from Cindy and from Becky at Halfmoon Lake and contributions from Dean and George &
Diana at Crystal Lake. I hear talk of a web-cam on Crystal Lake! I can't seem to get google to pick this site up
directly but if you type in Belknap Lakes it'll come up fourth as a link from www.winnipesaukee.com ...the site is now linked to these following sites also; Merrymeeting Lake, Lake Wentworth, The Crystal Lake Snowmobilers
and the Town of Gilmanton Website. I hope the snowmobilers can send in photos of our lakes in the Winter so we can check
in even though we can't be there! McD.
