"This project delves into the psychology between human relationships coupled with the notion that our identities have become increasingly obscured. In this day in age when identity theft has become a common occurrence, we are constantly forced to protect our image and all that is sacred to us. Interestingly, our identities are not even associated by our faces in many cases, instead strictly a series of numbers which renders us faceless. These photographs question our roles in modern society...."

"This new body of work is a smaller solo show in the Center Gallery at Kingston and is a change of medium: oven-baked FIMO clay. The show is inspired by my baroque sensibilities and an appreciation for visual complexity and form It is also a consequence of the current economic climate where I simply cannot afford to spend several thousands of dollars on putting on a show. This show is less of a financial outlay but will still pack the same visual punch of my other work....."

"Making the decision to work exclusively in drawing, I felt liberated from the heavy weight of the history of painting that hangs over every contemporary painter’s head. I had started to become very interested in creating work that was extremely detailed, meticulous, and also decorative. My work had always been in some sense about nature, but now I was able to create my own world inspired by systems and patterns found in nature, as well as its wild, unpredictable and ominous side.... "

"My work deals with space, form and the fundamental elements of point, line and plane. All of these are tools we use to understand reality. These are the building blocks and I am interested in exploring how these impact our perception. I also create art object in clear plastic boxes and leave them in random places for people to find. In this way I feel I both curate my own shows and manage experimental galleries because I see the clear boxes as exhibition spaces, which are portable....."
