Anderson Challenges Curry to Take Action on PHEAA Scandal
As if it weren't bad enough that more than 75% of college students (90% where I attended) need some sort of financial aid, now they have turned the PHEAA into an administrative 'Pork Barrel'. As a member of the education committee in Harrisburg what is Curry doing ?
We all know education is big business in the PA 154th.  It's cost is reflected in our local school tax bills whether we have children attending our not.  Let's ask for a leaner, fairer management at PHEAA.  Do they really need those huge bonuses to attract executives ?

'Power Picnic' at Mermaid Lake in Blue Bell, Pa !
What a day, Saturday August 5, 2006, at Mermaid Lake in Blue Bell, Pa !  The Montgomery County Young Republicans were able to socialize with US congressional personalities Curt Weldon, Mike Fitzpatrick, Jon Fox and John Boehner.  Jim Matthews, Tom Ellis, Ron Holt and others were there too.  This picnic should've been advertised more among our interested young folks. See the photo section.
