What will my massage be like?
Your massage will take place in a private room on a table especially designed for stability and comfort.
You
have the option to wear underwear or undress completely.
Except for the area being massaged, you will be covered with
a sheet or towel at all times. Massage oil or cream will be applied for the treatment and removed at the completion of the
session.
How long is my massage?
A full body massage typically lasts one hour,
however massages and spa services can range in length from 30 minutes to over an hour.
How will
my massage feel? Will it ever hurt?
Therapeutic massage, the way I practice it, is designed to be helpful
without being hurtful. Pressure will be applied to various muscles and muscle groups. Great care is taken to use the appropriate
pressure for your condition or treatment goal. The pressure varies depending on your preference.
You should not feel
any pain, although areas that are more tense may be more sensitive.
Your massage experience should be a comforting
and relaxing one.
