Journey to St. Moritz
Our journey started with a LONG plane ride from Philadelphia to Milan, Italy. As our plane approached Milan, we were treated with a beautiful view of the sun rising over the Alps.
Then came a nice 3 hour bus ride to St. Moritz. Just to make the trip a little more bearable, we made a little pit stop in a little Italian town called Chiavenna.
Once we got past the Swiss border, the drive featured quite a few switchbacks and was rather hair raising. I think everyone was counting their blessings that the roads were in good condition and that we were in the hands of a professional driver.
Ah, we finally arrived at the place where we would call home for the next week: Hotel Laudinella.
