All firearms are dangerous. Careless use can and does result in injury and death. Be responsible when around or using
firearms. Never point a firearm at anyone loaded or unloaded. Countless accidents happen with "unloaded" firearms. When shooting,
always point the firearm in a safe direction and know what's beyond where you're shooting. When cleaning, make sure it is NOT
LOADED. If there are children around make sure your firearms are locked away. Children have a habit of finding firearms that
are "hidden" on shelves, under beds, or in closets. I suggest you have all older, antique, and C&R (curio&relic) firearms
checked by a licensed gunsmith before firing.
The excitement of shooting your first C&R, older, or antique firearm may be overwhelming but have it checked
first. A little expense and peace of mind now may save a lot of trouble later. I'm no pro or expert nor do I claim to be.
I'm just a collector that enjoys firearms and wants others to safely enjoy them too.
