"All Gave Some... Some Gave All"

Who We Are: Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans is a small, local organization of veterans and caring people who are dedicated to serving our community and honoring all those who have served our country. Our honor guard participates in parades, ceremonies, and dedications, as well as providing final honors at veterans funerals. We participate with and donate to national and local charitable institutions, and provide information and contacts for veterans requiring social services.

Our Flag Memorial : The Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans presents a yearly flag memorial on the weekend nearest to Flag Day. The Flag Memorial consists of over 60,000 American and POW/MIA flags planted in the ground and formed in the exact size and shape of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC. It is presented to honor those who lost their lives while serving in Vietnam, and to remember those still listed as Prisoners of War or Missing in Action. We also include displays honoring the service of veterans from all wars. The highlight of the memorial is the honors and repatriation ceremony held on Sunday, where we remove a black POW/MIA flag for every POW/MIA returned since our last memorial, and place an American Flag in the field of honor, signifying that they have finally come home.

For additional information or a membership application please contact us at the address listed above or go to the link page for our web site.

Prayer for the troops
Heavenly Father, we beg You now to protect in a special way those who are fighting for us and for the country we love. Bless them and take care of them. If they are tired, give them strength. If they are wounded and suffering, give them comfort. If they are lonely, touch them with Your gentle hand and let them know that You are near them. Grant them strength, wisdom and help through Your power and Your limitless love. Amen.

There are two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle.
