In front of the Bristol Township Municipal building there is a small park containing three memorials. The first is the Officer
George Stuckey Memorial, dedicated to the Police, Fire, and Emergency Services personnel lost in the line of Duty. Detective
Sergeant George F. Stuckey was killed in the line of duty during an attempted bank robbery on March 29, 1972. The second memorial
is the Bristol Township Vietnam Veterans Memorial, dedicated the Bristol Township residents who served during the Vietnam
War, and honoring the 19 men from the township who lost their lives during that conflict. The last memorial is the Pennsylvania
War Dog Memorial, erected to honor the military working dogs and their handlers from all wars, including the current conflicts
in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Memorial Park is a place of quiet reflection and is frequented by veterans and non veterans alike,
who stop to honor the memories of the people the memorials represent.
