My name is Roger S. and I have developed this site as a project
for my English Composition Class (ENG 111). I am enrolled at Tidewater Community College pursuing a degree in Industrial
Management and will graduate this fall.
From the assignments section, the purpose of this site is to:
- Reflect on and demonstrate what you have done and learned during this class
- Show connections among the activities of this class and connections to broader curriculum
and career goals
- Compose for both traditional print and new electronic media by developing hypertext with
active links to related Web pages
- Publish examples of your writing and learning for an audience of classmates and others such
as family, friends, coworkers, transfer colleges, and prospective employers.
I've included some of the things I've written for this class as well as some of my other works that I have
written over the years. The first three items are the three essays that we were required to write. The next
is called Reflections where we were to write about our learning expiences over the course of the class.
Finally, I included some of my other writtings from over the years. I've written several "Ride Reports"
for the motorcycle club that I am a member of, I've gotten a letter to the editor published in a local newspaper and also
used to write "Ride Reports" for a four wheel drive club that I was a member of some years ago.
