Meet the 2005 Team

#21 - HANNAH

Hannah plays 2ND BASE. She likes the responsibility of playing 2nd Base, and it's fun. She played 2 years of T-ball and has been playing softball for 4 years. Hannah likes softball because it's challenging and she has a lot of friends who play. She also enjoys baseball, football, swimming and gymnastics.

# 23 - MORGAN

Morgan plays RIGHT CENTER and CATCHER. She likes both positions, but prefers to catch. She has been playing softball for 4 years. Morgan likes softball because it's fun and you can make a lot of new friends. She also enjoys soccer.

# 17 - COURTNEY "SPEEDY"

Speedy plays SHORTSTOP, 2ND BASE AND PITCHER. Her favorite position is pitching, because it's an important position with lots of action. She has been playing softball for 5 years. Speedy loves softball because it is fun and she gets to hang out with friends. She also enjoys basketball.

# 11 - AMANDA

Amanda plays LEFT CENTER. She likes it because a lot of balls come out there and she gets to back up the infield. She played T-ball for 2 years, and has been playing softball for 4 years. Amanda likes softball because she enjoys fielding and hitting. She also enjoys field hockey.

# 15 - TAYLOR "YODA"

Yoda plays SHORTSTOP and CATCHER. She likes both positions because they're fun. She played T-ball for 2 years and has been playing softball for 4 years. She likes softball because she gets to see her friends and meet new people. Yoda also enjoys riding horses.

# 4 - TAYLOR "CHIP"

Chip plays 3RD BASE. She likes it because she's used to that position and it feels easy. She played T-ball for 2 years and has been playing softball for 4 years. She likes softball because it keeps you moving and gives you something to do during your free time. Chip also enjoys soccer and basketball.

# 25 - MARY

Mary plays 3RD BASE, 1ST BASE and PITCHER. Her favorite position is pitcher because that's where she gets the most action. She has been playing softball for 5 years. Mary likes softball because it's fun, she gets to be with friends, and it's better than sitting around watching TV. She also enjoys volleyball and gymnastics.

#27 - SARAH "PINKY"

Pinky plays FIRST BASE and RELIEF PITCHER. She loves playing first base because it's fun and she likes to see how far she can stretch to catch the ball. She has been playing softball for 6 years. Pinky likes softball because it's a fun and active sport and you meet a lot of friends. She likes hitting and the fact that you always have to be thinking. Pinky is a black belt in karate, plays soccer and likes to swim.

#1 - EMILY "HUM-DOG""

Bing plays LEFT FIELD. She likes Left Field because she gets to cover 3rd on bunts and likes working on pop flies. She has been playing softball for 3 years. She likes softball because it's an active sport that keeps you healthy with lots of exercise. Bing also enjoys soccer and basketball.

#7 - KARALYN

Karalyn plays RIGHT FIELD, SHORTSTOP & LEFT CENTER. She likes RF and LCF because she backs up the infield on plays. She likes SS, especially doing the strike-out cheer with the infield & pitcher. She's been playing softball for 5 years. She likes softball because it's a fun sport to play (especially hitting) & making new friends on the team is fun, too. She loves the new uniforms! She also plays soccer & swims.

# 29 - HALEY "CHEWY"

Chewy plays CATCHER. She likes being in control of the ball as catcher. She has been playing softball for 2 years. Chewy likes softball because it's fun and her sister plays, too. She also enjoys soccer.

# 19 - DANIELLE "DANI"

Dani plays RIGHT FIELD. She likes that position because she gets to back up first base. She has been playing softball for 3 years. She likes softball because it's fun! Dani also likes soccer and basketball.
