Tamura, Michael. You
are the Answer. Mt. Shasta, CA: Star
of Peace Publishing, 2002. ISBN 1-931977-03-8.
Written by one of my teachers
at the Berkeley Psychic Institute. Fascinating, in-depth exploration of living
from the perspective of being a spirit in a body. Includes practical approaches
and a series of self-healing exercises, as well as numerous stories. Hard to
put down. Highly recommended, though maybe not the book for the beginner.

Check out the last chapter,
Energy Healing: it describes her experiences with sessions from yours truly. Most of the book gives the dramatic story of her troubled marriage and divorce (including
being held at gunpoint). The final section outlines her spiritual journey of
recovery and hope, with some amazingly positive exercises that are powerful yet simple enough for anyone to try. Very helpful.

Well worth the reading for
the invaluable central principle it contains—an approach to self-healing even in the worst of circumstances. Really good despite the rather poor writing.

Katie, Byron. Loving What Is. New York:

Very interesting book on getting out of the traps of our own
mental and emotional boxes through a process of self-questioning called "the work." Very powerful but simple tools,
that can be used alone or with a partner.

One woman’s understanding

A “non-churchy”
translation of the accounts of the world’s greatest healer and his followers.
For those who may have had unpleasant experiences with churches, this can provide an easier approach to his teachings.
(Another good non-mainstream translation is one by Greek scholar Richmond Lattimore.)
