- Firefox - www.mozilla.org
- This free browser was released fall of 2004 and is completely comporable to IE even better, some say. It's emphasis is browsing and not email, newsreader and other tools. Firefox uses tabbed browsing (open multiple windows), includes pop-up blocking, client control over passwords, downloads and cookies.
- Opera - www.opera.com
- Another free download that displays ads at the top which can be removed from the paid Opera version
- Safari - www.apple.com
- Safari comes installed on Macintoch computers and now available for Windows. This easy to use features tabbed browsing, Google Find on the toolbar, and PDF viewing within the browser window.
- Avant www.avantbrowser.com
- This browser uses IE rendering engine and built other features such as modifying the browser look, disabling Flash animations, sounds scripts and other applications. It can save any opened page upon exiting the browser.
- Netscape Navigator 8.1- www.netscape.com

- Internet Explorer www.microsoft.com
- The newer version of this all time favorite, trouts increased security and privacy, read and subscribe to feeds, keeps the browser up to date in order to prevent attacks, and many other new features.
