    Print Fabric Specification

  1. Generally 100% cotton is used for most projects; although other fabrics are available. Prewash or test fabrics for fading or srinking.
  2. White fabric gives the best color; cream color looks good for antique images.
  3. Use clean hands and surfaces to eliminate body oils from contanminating the cloth.

    Fabric Printing

  4. Check fabric sheets for loose threads, wrinkled sheets or paper edges peeling can cause printer jams.
  5. Place one fabric sheet in the paper tray at a time.(check your printer) My preference is one sheet at a time.
  6. Test printer for the quality of the cartridges; add new ones if necessary. Test by printing on paper first then the fabric sheets.

    Label all persons in the photograph

    In any graphic or photo editing software allows text to be printed on the image. Choose a readable fonts -sans-serif Arial, Helvetica; serif-Times or Cursive fonts. Describe all persons in the photograph and date the quilt.
