Margaret Susan Hall was born 10 January 1881 in Irving, Barry County, Michigan.
She was the third child of Thaddeus Lebecous Hall and Annie Melissa Kollar. She
moved with her family to Minnesota. After her marriage to Daniel Charles Dennis,
she moved to Montana and northern Wyoming. About 1932 she moved to Salt Lake
City, Utah, and lived there until her death at the age of 99 on 4 June 1980.

Annie Melissa Kollar, the mother of Margaret Susan Hall, is the daughter of Joseph Kollar and Rachel Larimer. Joseph Kollar is a descendant of George Kollar, of Pennsylvania German background. He was born in York County, Pennsylvania in 1765. His wife was Susan Koons, also born in York County, Pennsylvania. The family moved initially to Rockbridge County, Virginia, and then to the state of Ohio, where they eventually settled in Tuscarawas County. This history provides details on the children of George Kollar and Susan Koons Kollar, as well as detailed information on the children of Adam Kollar, their second son. Adam moved from Tuscarawas County, Ohio, to St. Joseph County, Indiana, and most of his children moved there with him. Rachel Larimer was the daughter of John Larimer and Rachael Minnis. The Larimer family was from Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and moved to Tuscarawas County, Ohio, before 1850.
