From the private rear deck you view the Essex River bordered by restaurants, shops (antiques!) and galleries. You can also see the town’s public boat ramp, marina, and the shipbuilding museum's flag on the historic site where the Story family shipbuilders flourished for over 130 years. Convenience store with ATM, village market, liquor store, coffee shop, local bank, and post office are all well within walking distance.

 

Although you may find it hard to drag yourself away from basking in the scenery laid out in front of your private deck, the location offers a variety of activities to suit any vacationer – and most are only steps away.
