Our choirs want you!!!!   Love to sing?  Love to play an instrument?  Consider this an open invitation to join The Holy Trinity Contemporary Ensemble or the Holy Trinity Youth Choir!    The Holy Trinity Contemporary Ensemble is for members of the parish (ages 12 to 112!) who enjoy Contemporary Christian and Catholic music. While never turning our back on our rich traditional music heritage, our emphasis is on the modern repertoire.  Practices are Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00.  Along with the Cantor we lead the singing at the 9 am Family Liturgy about twice a month.   Our other duties include providing song leadership for Cornerstone Masses and Reconciliation Services,   a Christmas Eve service and Living Stations on Good Friday.   We have musicians of all skill levels.   Everyone is welcome.      The Holy Trinity Youth Choir is  for young people from 6th grade up.  We’re always looking for more singers and instrumentalists to round out our group.   No previous singing experience necessary – just a commitment to Music Ministry.  It’s fun and a great way to hone your musical skills.  In addition, membership in the Youth Choir is a great way to get service hours for Junior High and High School service requirements.  The Youth Choir also focuses on the Contemporary Christian and Catholic music repertoire.  Along with the Cantor we lead the singing at the 9 o’clock Mass about once a month..  Practices are Sunday afternoon 7-8:15. This  is a once-a-week commitment – we either sing at a Mass on a Sunday or we have practice with only a couple of exceptions during the year.  At times during the year we join forces with the Contemporary Ensemble and lead the singing at a Christmas Eve service, Living Stations on Good Friday and all of the First Eucharist Celebrations in the Easter Season.     Both choirs are under the direction of Sara Hedgepeth.  Please call 654-0894  or email hedgehog5@veizon.net for more information and to have a 2008-2009 music calendar sent to you.

Holy Trinity’s Parish Choir holds its regular practices on Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m. in the Choirloft. You are warmly invited to give serious, prayerful consideration to joining this dedicated, diverse, and loving group. We sing at the Sunday 10:30 Mass and for other special occasions, and do all kinds and styles of music. We admit that this is quite a commitment – no one is expected to have 100% attendance. BUT singing is GOOD for you physically, mentally, and spiritually! You will find yourself blessed far beyond the time and effort which you put into it. Promise! THE HOLY TRINITY CONTEMPORARY ENSEMBLE and the YOUTH CHOIR are starting up SOON! Both choirs, under the direction of Sara Hedgepeth, welcome new members and instrumentalists. HTCE is open to anyone in the parish. Practices are Wednesday evenings and we sing at the 9:00 Mass about twice a month. The Youth Choir is open to anyone from grade 6 on up. Practices are Sunday evenings, 7- 8:15, 2-3 times a month and we sing at the 9:00 Mass (occasionally the Noon Mass) about once a month and some special occasions.
