Club Founding
The Bus Guild was founded as an offspring of the First Annual Westies in the Woods Campout in 1993. Many of us decided we
wanted to get together more than once a year, and thus the monthly meetings were begun.

Ron and Becky Maxon are the driving force behind The Bus Guild. They purchased their first VW Bus together in 1992 and quickly
became immersed in the VW scene. They currently own this ’67 psychodelic paisley dormobile, a ’91 Vanagon Westy
and a ’99 Eurovan Weekender. Ron and Becky serve as Area Representatives (Northern New Jersey) to the Late Model Bus
Owners, International (LiMBO), making The Bus Guild a chapter of the national organization. However, membership in LiMBO is
not a requirement to join The Bus Guild
