Induction Menus

Following are sample induction menus that we have used successfully. If there is a recipe for the meal on this site, there will be a link to the actual recipe.

Breakfast every day is either an egg muffin, or cheese omelette - hopefully you like eggs! When we're not on induction, we vary with low-carb French toast, not/cereal, and pancakes, but I like to keep breakfast carbs low so I can have a more interesting lunch and dinner.

There are six choices for lunch: shrimp (twice), hamburgers, tuna salad, chicken salad, chef salad and Italian salad. *All salads are made with: 2 cups romaine, 1/8 cup zucchini, 1/8 cup red pepper, 1/8 cup cucumber - total NET carbs are 2.

We also have the same snacks almost every day: the frozen pudding snacks are like ice cream and really satisfy me. I like to space them out over the evening. If I need anything else, I have some cheese.

I'm hooked on decaf coffee, so I have two cups a day with 1 pkt Splenda (.5) and 1 T light cream (1). Some days I need to cut the snacks a little to keep within the 20 carbs.
