Alien at Christmas Time
An out of this world look at how we celebrate
the holiday.
Stars in the Christmas Eve Sky and After Christmas Stars
Two versions. One for before Christmas; one for after.
A silly Christmas comedy set in the Stellar Departure Department of heaven. The egotistical stars, a frantic Mr.
Sandman and one lost child will have the audience laughing whether you present this as a bare stage, simple set or reader's
theater production. Mr. Sandman has himself in a tizzy trying to get the vain and hyperactive stars into the sky ontime
while trying to figure out what to do with what he thinks is a new star who cames without instructions. In the meantime
the Star of Bethlehem explains the events inthe winter sky some 2000 years ago. 3 females, 1 male, 2 either and 1 child
(few spoken lines. Run time 15 minutes.
If you do nursing or retirement home ministries consider doing
After Christmas Stars. From years of nursing home and rehab hospital work I know many groups and organizations do special
things for residents before the holiday. Then there is that terrible after Christmas slump for the residents. Depression,
winter blues set in and the death rate sharply increases. This short version can be done to pick up their spirits and
if done as reader's theater requires very little prep.
