What is Reader's Theater?
Actors perform with script in hand. They may, but usually
do not have, blocking, costumes, props or sets. Several readings are done before performance because so much depends
on the right inflection, volume and delivery of the lines.
Reader's Theater is frequently used in education to
boost reading fluency and comprehension and as a means to improve oral language skills. Performance gives an authentic
reason to read and reread aloud. Beginning drama students can concentrate on delivery and often have less anxiety with
script in hand.

Esther and related passages in the Bible. It provides prompts for personal
journaling and prayer. Psalm 146

a look at the 10 verses in this Psalm by having Bible characters join the readers to describe events in their lives that show
