We are currenly looking for pet sitters located in and able to cover Norfolk or Virginia Beach.

Successful pet sitters love a variety of animals - both pets and exotics, satisfy and put owners at ease, can manage time wisely, have flexible schedules, reliable, cost effective transporation, are resiliant and self adjust to change, work with minimum supervision and make good decisions on their own.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE NUMBER OF VISITS PER DAY CAN VARY BETWEEN 0-8 WITH THE AVERAGE BEING AROUND 2-3 PER DAY. Pet sitters just starting out may not have many visits when they begin. However excellent pet sitters build up a considerable clientel and may do more than 7 visits a day at peak times. Some clients request as early as 6 am and others as late as 11 pm. Clients generally want the same pet sitter every visit. This can mean working 7 days a week and on holidays. Use that as a guide to determine if this position will work for you.

Consider carefully before indicating your area of coverage. Pet sitters provide their own transportation so cost effective, reliable transportation and the ability to drive day, night and in all weather conditions is essential. Sometimes independent contractors make 3 visits to the same home each day. Estimate a 20-30 minute drive between visits. These positions are part time and require availability 7 days per week and on holidays.

Most of our pet sitting visits are 30 minutes and have arrival times varying between 6 am - 11 pm. Which hours are you available to work? (check all times that you're available).
