Good Job Bro
My Brother went out fishing for trout a few days ago and he had a surprise on the end of his line, which was a 35" 25lb stripper.  The fish was caught with 5lb test line, that must of been some fight.  I have posted a picture of the great catch.

Not enough hours in a day
I have not been fishing lately due to work and some personal issues I need to take care of and of course there is the honey to do list that needs completed.  Which the list keeps growing, I guess I better get busy finishing the list so I can attempt to post more great fishing stories.  If anybody has any great stories or pictures please feel free to send my way.  I would like to post it.

Hot Spot Turns Cold
My Brother-In-Law and I have been fishing at our hot spot at Falmouth and just been catching the walleye left and right.  then a cold front came in and just killed the fishing.  I usually catch a bass when the walleye are slow but the bass were not bitting.  Chartruce mister twister has been the jig of choice and has been working very well.  I used a new product by Berkley called Berkley Gulp Alive.  I was very relunctant to use it.  The first cast I caught a walleye.  This product has worked very well, the one thing I noticed was I was catching larger fish.  I was using the 3" minnow and my Brother-In-Law used the 3" chartruce shad and they both do the job they claim to do.

Continue Search
It has been a while since my last post only because the fishing has been very slow.  My Brother-In-Law and I have been doing what we call the serkit, from the Turnpike Bridge to Falmouth stopping at all the spots and even some that are not very popular.  There have been days where we did catch some fish but nothing of legal size or worth writing home about.  Most of the fishing has been done right before dark and into late hours.  We have been asking other fishermen about where they fish, and they fish at the same spots and use the same lures.  Really frustrating, hoping as the water warms up we will get onto the walleye.

Catching Catties
Headed back out on Tuesday the 5th with my brother-inlaw around 4pm.  We were at the place we call hot waters, I was fishing for walleye my brother-inlaw was fishing for catfish.  I fished for walleye for about an hour and a half and caught nothing, I was using plastic jigs.  I went and joined Harry at our favorite spot for catfish.  He already caught 3 and 1 of a nice size.  The bait the catfish was enjoying was cut bait, let me tell you the fish just slammed the bait hard.  We had a very good night catching a lot of cats and bring home 6 of good size to eat.  Harry and I finally had a good night of fishing and we really enjoyed it.

Since I do a lot of fishing in Pennsylvania I decided to do this web site for anglers to visit and see what is hot in PA.  Most of my fishing is done in Central Pennsylvania in streams, lakes and ponds.  I will be glad to tell you the type of lure I used but will not say the brand name.  I will be publishing my adventures on my blog, so be sure to check my blog from time to time to see how well or not so well I am doing.

The site contains a photo section which I will post pictures of great catches or some of my family members and friends getting their trophy.  Please feel free to give me some feed back or should I have misstated something please correct me.  The related link page will have some of my favorite links I like to view for information or just for reading pleasure.
