Catching CattiesHeaded back out on Tuesday the 5th with my brother-inlaw around 4pm. We were at the place we call hot waters, I
was fishing for walleye my brother-inlaw was fishing for catfish. I fished for walleye for about an hour and a half
and caught nothing, I was using plastic jigs. I went and joined Harry at our favorite spot for catfish. He already
caught 3 and 1 of a nice size. The bait the catfish was enjoying was cut bait, let me tell you the fish just slammed
the bait hard. We had a very good night catching a lot of cats and bring home 6 of good size to eat. Harry and
I finally had a good night of fishing and we really enjoyed it.

Where is the walleyeWhere should I start, a few days ago we had a lot of rain over 2 inches, which is a lot at one time for this area.
Since the rivers were over flowing my Brother-inlaw and I decided to go to this on fishing spot which has a river flowing
into the Susquehanna River. That would make a great back wash and most of the time the walleye would be hanging in the
back wash waiting for the bait fish. When we arrived at the fishing spot we could hear the river roaring into the Susquehanna,
we were excited. When we checked the spot, the ice was all piled up on the bank and there was no way for us to fish.
So since we were out we went to check on other spots but no luck.
On Sunday the 3rd my Brother-inlaw went to this place we call the hot waters. Which means there is a company that
pumps hot water and the fish move up into this area for feed. He did very well catching catfish on cut bait. So,
today the 4th we got up at 6am, we got there about 7am and started fishing. The fishing was very slow
Harry caught a real nice catfish I caught a sucker. Since the fishing was slow we moved down the river where walleye
were known to be caught. There was a few fishermen and they were not catching anything. I figured what the heck, I
put on a plastic jig and actually caught one walleye which was 6 inches long. That was all, I was glad to catch one.
This has been a rough winter for walleye fishermen. I sure hope the spring will be better.

Since I do a lot of fishing in Pennsylvania I decided to do this web site for anglers to visit and see what is hot in
PA. Most of my fishing is done in Central Pennsylvania in streams, lakes and ponds. I will be glad to tell you
the type of lure I used but will not say the brand name. I will be publishing my adventures on my blog, so be sure to
check my blog from time to time to see how well or not so well I am doing.
The site contains a photo section which I will post pictures of great catches or some of my family members and friends
getting their trophy. Please feel free to give me some feed back or should I have misstated something please correct
me. The related link page will have some of my favorite links I like to view for information or just for reading
pleasure.
