Our first time in South America, our sight of the great Amazon River as we visit Mazan, Peru.

In Mazan we visited the Santa Rosa Parish. Santa Rosa is the sister church of Saint Patricks and Raphaels Parish in Williamstown, MA. Here we began an exchange that we hope will last for many years.

We brought sewing supplies and gifts from the church in the US to the women's cooperative in Mazan. RLP donated enough books to begin a library at the church. We were welcomed in the most amazing manner and returned home with heavier bags than when we arrived, packed with gifts for their sister parish in Williamstown.
