So I had to have a 70..... I ended up with a 71 318 car. At the time I didn't
realize 71 was the only year for 4 headlights. Once this became real to me, 71 was the only year to own. (I was almost 18,
what did I know?) The car was black on black when I got it. Considering the triple black 70 that turned me on, this was fine
by me. After a year, or so, the 318 was replaced with a 360 from my uncle's 71 Suburban wagon. Another year later, it grew
into a 440 from a 74 New Yorker. The car also became a dark red metallic.

As I got deeper into the Cuda thing, I had to have a convertible. I stumbled across a 71 318 car
w/air, power disc brakes, power steering and a manual top. It was supposed to be B5 blue. I made it lime green. I also had
picked up a complete 340 from a Dart for a whopping twenty bucks. (The kid needed dope money.) I drove for one summer then
sold the car. The next day, I knew I was stupid. So I went and bought a Road Runner.
