As for the MoPars, it all began when I was a little squirt. Dad was a mechanic at the
local Chrysler dealer. He used to do a lot of side work. The side jobs that stick out in my mind are the Super Bee that
would scare the daylights out of the neighbor's kid on test drives, the Challenger, the thirty-something Plymouth pick-up,
and my first grade teacher's New Yorker. By the time I was pedalling around delivering news papers, I noticed the black on
black on black 70 Cuda at the bottom of our street that was a tow car for a triple black 70 Road Runner race car. That was
it! I had to have a 70 Cuda. There was something about the grill, the profile and the hood that just set me off.
