Kaiwan Budokai -- the Bay Martial Arts School
-- is a jujitsu dojo located near Annapolis, Maryland in the heart of the Chesapeake Bay area. A member
of the American Jujitsu Association, Kaiwan Budokai offers expert training in the fundamentals of Japanese jujitsu.
The Japanese characters below are "ju" ("flexible"
or "yielding") and "jitsu" ("art"). Jujitsu is a flexible art that enables you to turn your opponent's strength
and momentum to your advantage by exploiting elements such as balance, leverage, circularity, and timing.

Jujitsu classes are held at Anne Arundel Community
College in Arnold, MD during winter and spring terms, three summer terms, and two fall terms -- on Tuesdays and
Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00 PM. The next term, Winter 2012, begins February 7 and costs $155.
In addition to regular class, students may participate
in the Jujitsu Club at no cost. Club sessions, held from 6:30 to 7:30 on the same evenings, enable students to
practice their techniques and learn new skills. Attending both club sessions and regular classes provides students with
five hours of jujitsu training each week.
