Dear Mr. Vice President & Members of Congress,
"Where there is no vision, the people perish" wrote the Preacher, and this proverb is especially apt for
the 9/11 attacks on New York City and Washington. We have never seen the routine video surveillance tapes of any passengers
boarding jets at Logan, Newark and Dulles International Airports on that day that changed our lives. The 9/11 Commission
avoided any mention of this gross deficiency. The conspiracy of silence surrounding the puzzling issue of these missing
tapes extends from the US Department of Justice to the mainstream news media, the Attorney General of New York State, the
Manhattan District Attorney and candidates for these offices with jurisdiction over Ground Zero. Many other major deficiencies
abound in The 9/11 Commission Report, any one of which should have raised up a red flag indicating that all the lies about
WMD in Iraq are but little ones when compared with the BIG LIE about what really happened on 9/11. As our nation goes
from disaster to disaster in the Middle East, it behooves this legislative body that launched the invasion of Iraq to rethink
the accepted "facts" and conventional wisdom regarding 9/11. Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney and Congressman Raul Grijalva
will take a critical look at the 9/11 Commission, its Report and Recommendations on Friday, 22 July 2005 in Room 345 of the
Cannon House Office Building from 9AM to 5PM. The very least that all of you can do is pay respectful heed to what is
brought forth in this meeting. The eyes of the world are upon you. You have been weighed in the balances and found
wanting. You need to take immediate action to address the truth of 9/11 and all that followed.
