Here at St. Charles a design that has been long gone from the walls of the sanctuary for at least twenty years. From wedding photos that have been carefully studied a new design was drawn. With a laser level and a plum line the new wallpaper design is being put into place. First a stencil is cut to give the ornamental painters a guide and placement in which to follow. Gold leaf is also used in this piece. The sanctuary walls tie in all that was done with other ornaments recently completed in the church of St. Charles. The STC ornament is the monogram for St. Charles.
