I chose to use the propane tanks on my trailer because the only time I intend to use propane is when I am towing.
The system has a selinoid just below the regulator that feeds to and through the quick disconnect to the truck and through the hose tied to the top of the frame. A second selinoid in the engine compartment then feeds the air filter box. Both selinoids are controlled by a pushbutton switch on the center console. The 2 selinoids provide a level of safety should the trailer become disconnected and maintain a charged line to the front of the truck to reduce lag when the system is called for.
