STANDARD AMERICAN MODERN ENGLISH
************************************************

POINT:
1.  Citizens of the United States use  "Standard
      American Modern English" for Formal
      Communication.

2.  The words and the style of writing and
composing, are derived from many language
      systems.

3.  The designers of the language chose the most
      thoroughly efficient, mechanical language
      skills of that time.

4.  The designers wanted the language to bear
witness to the chief reasons for a more con-
sistent nation of communities of diverse
      language skills.

5.  In order to endure change and to withstand the
reality of discovery and invention, the
the designers and scholars knew that the
laws of  "flexibility" must be evident in its
      "tenets".

6.  The designers and scholars knew the need to
espouse the commissioning of an official
etymologist, to bear witness to its origin; and
to ensure the language's stability in the world
     communities.
