ROSELLE GIRL SCOUTS is conducting a Recruitment for the 2009-2010 school year. Today,
there are 3.7 million Girl Scouts—2.7 million girl members and 928,000 adult members working primarily as volunteers.
If you would like your daughter to join an organization that builds girls of courage, confidence, and character,
who make the world a better place then Girl Scouting is the place for you.
In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Through a myriad of enriching
experiences, such as extraordinary field trips, sports skill-building clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges,
and environmental stewardship's, girls grow courageous and strong. Girl Scouting helps girls develop their full individual
potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide
the foundation for sound decision-making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership
skills, and cooperation with others.

The Roselle Art Association is for adults interested in art. Meetings are held Tuesdays
at the Community Center 1268 Shaffer Ave. For more information please contact Sylvia at 908-241-8998. Membership is open to anyone over 50 years old
you don't have to be a Roselle resident to join.
